So you’ve decided on taking a trip to Tanzania and now you’re wondering how to start that process. Booking your trip with the TAT team is easier than you think. The first thing you need to do is review the sample safaris and get an idea of where you’d like to go and what you’d like to do! After that, it’s time to plan your trip. Our trip questionnaire is designed to give our team everything we need to put together your perfect trip. We suggest you spend some time and fill out the questionnaire out in great detail. The more information we have the better!
You’ve filled out the questionnaire, now what? Now it’s time to make things happen. Once we receive your questionnaire you’ll get an email requesting that you set up a phone call with our adventure specialist and owner, Ryan Barker. During this phone call, we will discuss your questionnaire and answer any questions you may have. After that, we’ll use your questionnaire and any additional information we’ve gathered to build your customized safari.
Once we create this customized agenda, we send it over to you for review and approval. Once you approve, we’ll send you our contract and an invoice for 30% of your trip. This payment will be used to reserve all lodging and add on excursions requested. It is very to make sure you put your down payment or you put a down payment on your safari in a timely fashion to ensure you get the trip of your dreams.
One of the best things about booking with Tanzania Adventure Tours is that we offer different payment options for you to choose from. Once you put down your 30% down payment, we work with you to develop a monthly payment plan. If this is something you’re interested in just let us know!
Depending on when your trip is scheduled, you pay another 20% halfway from when you booked until when you depart for Tanzania. Your final payment of 50% is due 60 days prior to landing in Tanzania.
